Heraclius II of Georgia
He united Kartli and Kakheti in 1762 and sought to strengthen the eastern kingdom. The Treaty of Georgievsk linked him to Russia, but failed to prevent Agha Mohammad Khan’s attack on Tbilisi in 1795. His career connects Georgian politics with Persia and Russian expansion.
