Elizabeth of Bosnia
Daughter of Stephen II Kotromanić, she married Louis I of Hungary. Their daughters Mary and Jadwiga continued the family’s connections with the Hungarian and Polish crowns. Her Bosnian origins reveal a family line distinct from that of her cousin Tvrtko, who remained ruler of Bosnia.
